Unauthorizing a DHCP Server Print E-mail

When a DHCP server is decommissioned, or the DHCP database is simply moved to another server, the original server should be un-authorised so that it no longer shows up as an authorised server in the DHCP snap-in (and for tidiness' sake).   Likewise, if a DHCP server disastrously fails or is incorrectly taken offline, this too needs removing from the list of authorised servers.  This article discusses the different ways of un-authorising and/ or removing authorised DHCP servers from the directory.
